Move beyond "behaviour management" to genuine inclusion.
We translate high-level theory into "Monday morning" reality to reduce teacher burnout, support complex needs, and unlock student potential.
Educators today are facing more complex needs than ever before, often with fewer resources. You don't need another academic lecture on why inclusion matters; you need practical tools for how to make it work in a busy classroom.
At Potential to Performance, we provide what participants call a "lifejacket" for the profession. Led by Brooke Trenwith —former President of the NZAGC and an experienced classroom teacher —we combine deep pedagogical knowledge with lived neurodivergent experience.
We help you move from "survival mode" to a culture of connection, safety, and high performance for both kaiako (teachers) and ākonga (learners)

For Teachers & Staff
Practical Capability & Trauma-Informed Practice
Teachers are the frontline of inclusion. We equip your staff with concrete, trauma-informed strategies to manage complex behaviours and diverse learning needs without increasing their workload. Our goal is to reduce stress and bring the joy back to teaching.
Key Support Examples:
Trauma-Informed Practice: Practical tools to de-escalate "fight, flight, freeze, or fawn" responses in the classroom.
Managing Complex Needs: "Monday morning" strategies for supporting neurodivergent students (Autism, ADHD, Dyslexia, etc.) in a mainstream setting.
Teacher Mentoring/Coaching: Direct support for staff to implement inclusive strategies effectively.

For Leadership
Strategic Review & Culture Building
Inclusive cultures start at the top. We partner with Principals, SENCOs, LSCs and Boards to review school-wide systems. We ensure your policies support neurodiversity and that your leadership team has the "Wobble Correction" skills to manage staff performance supportively.
Key Support Examples:
Inclusive School Review: A deep-dive audit of your school’s maturity, providing a data-driven roadmap for strategic investment.
Strategic Planning: Developing a 3-5 year plan to embed neuro-inclusion into your school charter and culture.
Leadership Coaching: 1:1 supervision for leaders to prevent burnout and navigate complex personnel challenges.

For Whānau & the Community
Connection & Student Advocacy
True inclusion requires a partnership between home and school. We bridge the gap, helping whānau understand their children's unique "operating systems" and empowering students to advocate for their own learning needs using a strengths-based approach.
Key Support Examples:
Whānau Workshops: Engaging sessions that help parents understand neurodivergence and how to support their children at home.
Student "Strengths" Coaching: Working directly with students (especially in return-to-school programmes) to build self-advocacy and confidence.
Community Facilitation: Accredited mediating between schools and whānau, setting up partnerships.

Each session was conducted with respect for the participants’ views, knowledge and experiences, while also challenging them to stretch and grow beyond the status quo. Our leaders left these sessions inspired, motivated and empowered to engage meaningfully with their teams, tackle problems through solutions focussed frameworks and to come together to share the load of leadership and support one another.

The session was informative, practical, and created a safe space for us to reflect on ourselves—how we communicate, how we show up at work, and how we can work together more effectively. We walked away with shared language, clearer understanding, and real takeaways we can apply day-to-day. Highly recommend Brooke to any team wanting to strengthen culture and connection.

They spoke so highly of the sessions and the way you facilitated them with such aroha, clarity, and genuine care.
We have already begun to implement changes in how we respond to and work alongside our amazing tamariki, and your guidance has been instrumental in that.
Thank you so very much for your time, expertise, and the heart you brought to this kaupapa.

We really appreciate you coming to share space with our participants. They loved the session and we are grateful for your energy, time and expertise. You present with joy and conviction that captivates audiences
